Location : Holiday Island is located on the tip of South Ari-Atoll, just 97km from Male International Airport, approximately 35 minute by air or two and half hour ride by fast boat. The length of the island is approximately 700m, while its width is approximately 100m.

Transfer facilities : Transfers between the airport and Holiday Island will be either by Air or by Sea. Should any customer wish to travel by air, then hotel would organise it by charging US$100.00 per adult each way. Children enjoy 50% reduction on either mode of transfers. Reservation has to be made 4 days in advance to organise air transfer. The air transfer is subject to availability hence the customer has to be on stand by. Should the hotel fail to arrange the requested transfer, then customer will be transferred by the pre paid transfer.

The design for Holiday Island reveals a grouping of low-rise rectangular-shaped individual bungalows joined by covered walkways. The main complex is surrounded by landscaped gardens amidst tropical vegetation and crystal clear sea, thus offering the visitor an enchanting view of undulating greens interspersed with azure sea. The word “Dhiffushi” is a Dhivehi word meaning “long uninhabited island”.

The interior of the hotel reflects modernization with heavy usage of modern amenities, antique furniture and paintings by local artists.

All 142 deluxe rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning, private bath with hot and cold water supply, bathtub, bidet, hair dryer, ceiling fan, telephones in the room and bath room, mini bar, and colour television with in-house video network plus round the clock news via satellite. For your kind information, the hotel has 220V-240V A/C 50Hz in all sockets inside your room. We advise you not to drink water inside your bathroom and taps, since it is desalinated water. Remember that any breakage or damages to items provided in your room will be charged to your bill.
